FTC Stops Nationwide Negotiation of Debt Scheme
The Federal Trade Commission has requested that a temporary restraining order be placed on a nation
wide debt consolidation company, and they were granted this request by a federal judge. Their claims
to reduce one's debt by up to 60 percent were eventually brought into question when their customers
started to fall into even deeper financial hardships and even bankruptcy.
